Our mission
The mission of Täiendõppe Avatud Keskus (TAK) / Center for Continuing Education is to provide practical educational assistance to students, teachers, and parents during the transition to Estonian as the language of instruction, to provide an opportunity for everyone to supplement and update their knowledge, skills, and abilities through individual or small group lessons. We are open to everyone who wants to improve and update their knowledge. We are open to new interesting ideas, thoughts, and initiatives.

Goals
- To offer various educational services to support all children, regardless of their native language;
- To provide both educational and psychological support to students in the process of learning in Estonian language;
- To support the development of creative and analytical abilities of students;
- To enhance the knowledge and practical skills of educators in this aspect;
- To offer educational activities to parents;
- To expand the range of educational offerings.

Avtivities
- Consultations to identify specific difficulties a child may have in mastering the school curriculum;
- Individual and group educational sessions that do not duplicate the school curriculum but have a developmental character, assisting in understanding subject matter and expanding language vocabulary;
- Flexible learning in small groups;
- Friendly atmosphere through the use of various methods, techniques, and ways to support learners;
- Courses, seminars, and training sessions for educators;
- Workshops for parents: lectures, seminars, consultations with a psychologist, communication in the Estonian language, meetings with interesting people;
- Student satisfaction surveys regarding the Centre’s activities and discussing their results;
- Financing from the following sources: membership fees from MTÜ members, parental payment for educational services, participation in projects, utilization of additional resources.
