The non-profit organization Täiendõppe Avatud Keskus (TAK) was established at the initiative and with the support of like-minded educators and enlighteners who are convinced of the necessity to provide children with proper education.
How can we, in the conditions of transitioning to Estonian as the language of instruction, provide all children, regardless of their native language, with the opportunity to master high-standard Estonian?
How can we help a child avoid ‘failure syndrome’ at school?
How can we support the development of students’ creative abilities, critical thinking, reasoning skills, and the expression of their own opinion?
How can we contribute to the development of the native language skills and culture?
How can we bring joy to the children’s attitude towards school and life itself?
We need to find the answers to these questions together.
Our centre offers assistance and support to children, educators, and parents. By helping each other, we can overcome challenges.
The Centre’s funding is provided from the following sources:
- membership fees of the MTÜ members
- parental payment for educational services for children
- participation in projects
- sponsors’ assistance.
